Very sorry for your loss,
I was fortunate to be able to work with Dave at Niagara Mohawk for most of Daves career. Dave liked to play golf and we both played together in many UEA tournaments. Dave and I both attended line school together in 1990, and we both worked in the Line Dept, and shared a truck together for many years.

The times that bring the biggest smile to my face were the Ice Storm of1998, and the many hours of trouble calls and overtime that we were both required to work.
Dave was not a big fan of Working Late and would rather of been anywhere else. But even thought he didn't enjoy the long hours, Dave made the work fun and exciting. He always made a conscience effort to work holidays and weekends when it was his turn to work, and he also volunteered to work many Thanksgivings, Christmas and holidays so the younger lineman with children could spend that time with there families. He was always there to offer help when needed, and set a high standard of work ethic for the young lineman.

Dave was well respected by his fellow linemen and the personal in other Departments.
I feel very fortunate to of worked with , and to of known Dave over his career at Niagara Mohawk. Dave was a good friend and will certainly be missed.
