Mary Jane, Gus and the Williams Family,
I guess its fitting that the last time i saw Dave was at a Clarkson vs SLU game this winter. We were on some fine Potsdam hockey teams together in our youth. He had told me of his illness but at the game he had such great spirit and such a great attitude i left thinking he would be with us for a long time. I especially appreciate that MJ and Dave always made Kumi and i feel welcome, and we enjoyed sitting by the river talking with them and usually a bunch of friends about past present and future. We love the North Country and its people and enjoyed going there and to us Dave is the North country. RIP Dave. Thank you for the friendship and for the lessons in how to live life well under duress. David lived a gallant life, filled with fun and laughter. I give my moral support to the Williams Family for your great loss . May the family receive an abundance of support from friends and relatives, and comfort and peace from God who will give you "Thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give hope and a future." There was never a time that I didn't enjoy being around David "TeeTee" Williams, whether it be golfing, at a restaurant or or just running into him anywhere. My last contact with David was at the Cranberry Lake Arts and Craft show last summer. I'm a better person for knowing Dave. A true gentleman and a greater patriot. Thank You for your service to our country.
I salute you.
RIP David...........

I have a few memories of how my Uncle David guided me through my youth. From talking with pride to my class about his experiences in the Vietnam War, directing me on the ins and out of going to college and how honored you were to walk me down the aisle when I got married. The times we were able to spend together were never enough for me, though I am thankful for what we had... Now I am thankful that you are not suffering anymore and that you are in heaven with my dad, your bother and my baby-Luke.
Love ya,
Your Neice, Frances

When I would return to Potsdam and run into my friend Dave Williams, we would laugh and talk like we never skipped a beat. He was always uplifting and full of life. My most memorable times of Dave will be playing softball in the summer together for the old Whiskey One team and golfing up @ Saranac.
I will miss you Dave.
RIP

MJ,
So sorry to hear of David’s passing. Jerry &
I are so sorry for your loss. David was a special man & will be missed by many. We will never forget our time with you & David during the ice storm. It may have been a terrible time for some but at the Williams home, we had a grand time. Those 100 or so candles we had going in the kitchen kept us warm.(along with a little wine & Davids jokes) You will be miss David. RIP💙💙🙏🙏

I am saddened to learn of this good man's passing . I first met Dave in the mid 1970's when he helped us at SUNY Canton obtain multiple years funding for innovative technical training programs designed to help folks who had been displaced in the workplace through no fault of their own ..
Through Dave's supportive role he helped improve the human condition for many who were in need . I came to value Dave not only as a colleague , but as a friend . His indomitable spirit and wry sense of humor made working with him on program design a fun experience .
Dave was always an advocate for people in need of a boost and was willing to roll up his sleeve and do something positive about it .
RIP friend , you will be missed by many
