Mr. Donald R. Rawlins Jr., age 61, of San Jose, CA passed away on October 30, 2011 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Palo Alto, CA. There will be a private burial at the Bayside Cemetery in Potsdam, New York. Arrangements are with the Garner Funeral Service in Potsdam, New York.
Donald is survived by his mother Mary Rawlins of Potsdam; his sister Marni (Geoff) Brown of Potsdam and his nephew Cameron (Mindy Jones) Brown of Washington, D.C. He is predeceased by his father Donald R. Rawlins Sr.
Donald was born on October 12, 1950 in Tacoma,WA. Mr. Rawlins proudly served in the US Marine Corps from 1969 to 1975 and later worked in the microelectronic chip design industry in California where he resided for the past 35 years.
