Mrs. Flossie June Cregan

Flossie J. (June) Cregan of Potsdam, NY passed away Friday afternoon, September 20th at the Canton Potsdam Hospital. June was born June 27, 1936, the daughter of Earl Zufelt and Elsie Carr. She attended Tully High School in Tully, New York, where she lived most of her life before moving to Potsdam in 2007. She was a retiree of General Motors, Fisher Body Plant in Syracuse and a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Potsdam. She was predeceased by her son, Lawrence (Larry) Barner and her husband of 22 years, Roy Barner, and two sisters, Betty Smith of Tully and Helen Peck of Syracuse. She is survived by her sons Bryan (Beth) Barner, John (Felicia) Barner, daughter-in-law Nancy (Larry) Barner, 5 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and one great grandchild. A Memorial service will be held at the Garner Funeral Service, 10 Lawrence Ave. Potsdam, NY, on Thursday, September 26th at 10:00 AM with Msgr. Robert Aucoin celebrant. Burial will be private. Donations in her memory can be made to the Potsdam Humane Society, 17 Madrid Ave., Potsdam, NY 13676. Online condolences can be sent

I worked with Flossie at the daycare center where she worked with the infants. She was a wonderful lady and loved those babies. She took great care of my daughter and she will be missed. You are in my prayers.
