Mrs. Frances J. Ellis, age 74 of Parishville, NY passed away on Wednesday, September 05, 2012 at the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Facility in Ogdensburg, New York. Graveside services for Frances will be held on Friday, September 7th at 11:30 am at the Southville Cemetery in Southville, New York with Rev. Lee Sweeney celebrant. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Parishville Volunteer Fireman Ladies Auxiliary or to the Agarwal Renal Center in Ogdensburg, NY.

Mrs. Ellis is survived by her son Reginald C. Ellis Jr. and his companion Julie Gotham; 3 grandchildren Nicole, Reginald III and Harley Ellis; a sister Pat Ramsey and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Reginald C. Ellis Sr. and a brother Floyd Gary.

Mrs. Frances J. Ellis was born June 19, 1938 in Hannawa Falls, New York to the late Homer Gary and Jennie Wood. She attended Hannawa Falls rural schools and then Potsdam Central Schools. She married Reginald C. Ellis Sr. Mrs. Ellis worked at St. Mary’s Rectory in Potsdam for many years and then she delivered newspapers for the Watertown Daily Times for many years.
