Born May 5th 1947. Loving husband of Helen (Sullivan) for 49 years. He was the beloved father of, Anita Sochia (Roger Paradis), Diane Sochia (Blake Tatom) and Joseph Sochia. Proud grandfather of Kinsey, Marissa, Trent, Ella, Gabrielle and Zane. He is survived by his 2 sisters, Lois Sochia and Rita Gary and 2 brothers, Lowelle Sochia and Terry Sochia and predeceased by his father Howard Sochia Sr and his mother Daisy (Ashlaw).
Howard was self-employed his entire life as a lumber man and truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a long time member of the Sylvan Falls Hunting Club.
There will be a gathering of family and friends at his home on Thursday July 30th from 5 pm to 8 pm. There will not be a burial or calling hours Arrangements are with the Garner Funeral Service. Condolences can be shared @www.garnerfh.com.
