John David Albert

Born and raised in Naperville, John graduated from Naperville North High School before continuing his education at Wyoming Technical Institute.

John is survived by his father, Dallas Kendall Albert of Naperville; his sister, Patty (Tom) Welch of West Chicago; his niece, Ashley (Zach) Leary; and his nephew, Christopher Dalke. He is also survived by his beloved daughter, Kendelle Albert (Dylan Patterson), and his cherished granddaughter, Peyton—whom he had recently moved back to New York to be closer to.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Loretta Albert and his infant daughter, Angel Marie.

John was happiest outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, with a true love of nature. Music was also a lifelong passion, and he was a devoted Grateful Dead fan. No matter the challenges he faced, his Harley brought him a sense of freedom and joy, especially in this past year.

John’s legacy lives on in the love of his family and friends, the memories of time spent together, and the music and outdoors that always lifted his spirit. He will be deeply missed.
