He was a man of many talents and my friend. We did so many things together. From when we were young men to middle age. I shall never forget him or his family. RIP John.

Gail, my sincere condolence to your family. John lived his life gallantly. Reflection on the words of Jesus, who promised, "I will not leave you bereaved, I am coming to you". (John 14:18) May all look to this promise for comfort, and peace now, and in the days ahead.

So bummed to hear this news this morning.

To the Sheehan family, my condolences go out to all of you.

So many memories, so many laughs with this guy. Just the other day I was telling my daughter about the good times I remember when my folks, Bill and Betty, would have John and Gail over for cards and the stories that John would tell us kids. I will never forget the year that John shot the large black bear. That image with John standing in the front yard with that bear will stick in my mind until I pass. Good man!!!
