Jordan is survived by his mother Patricia (Wayne) Brabaw; father Loren (Maria) Sochia; girlfriend Meggyn Everhart; paternal grandparents Eli R. and Shirley A. Sochia; maternal grandmother Mary H. Lewis; stepbrothers Glenn Sprague, James Taylor and Matthew and Mark Brabaw; step sisters Crystal Bird, Brittanie Sprague and Cheri Whitton, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles, several nieces and nephews as well as a countless amount of friends. He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Walter S. Lewis.

Jordan was born in Potsdam, NY on April 6, 1994 to Loren Sochia and Patricia Lewis. He was a 2012 graduate of Potsdam Central High School and then attended SUNY Canton. He worked for Nelson Tree Service followed by Tradesman Contracting in Rensselaer Falls where he took great pride in his work as a fiber optic installer and enjoyed the company of those he worked with. He was an active member of the Parishville Amvets/Sons Post 265.

All those who knew Jordan knew of his incredibly huge heart and love of life. He loved his family, friends and any holiday or event that brought people together. He was constantly active and on the go from the time he woke in the morning until he parked the Dodge at night. His truck was his pride and joy and first love of his life. His biggest passion was anything involving a motor; muscle cars, dirt bikes, the smell of gas and two stroke. He was an all around outdoorsman with a love of hunting, playing football, hockey, snowboarding and softball. Classic and hard rock were the soundtracks to many memories he kept so dear. He held an exponential amount of room in his heart for not only the people he cared for but animals as well. His love of his pets was mirrored by the deep connection they shared with him.

Jordan was a well respected young man and a leader for and protector of his friends. He would do anything in his power to stand up for and help any friend or family member through whatever challenge they were enduring. He had an infectious smile and always a sparkle in his Irish eyes. Words can not describe what a special man he was and he will be deeply missed to “infinity”.

I can only begin to imagine the depth of your loss. We are sending our sincere and heartfelt sympathy to Jordan's friends and family, but especially to my dear, sweet friend, Mary Lewis and her daughter Patricia. My memories of Jordan were during the two years that I worked as a teacher's aide at the A. A. Kingston Middle School. My son Devon and he were in 5th and 6th grade at the time. Although they were not close friends, they ended up spending quite a lot of time together through their high school years. Jordan at the time was dreaming of a football career. He put up with school, because he had to, but I know it was a struggle for him as it was for Devon. I lost touch with him but it sounds as if he enjoyed life and I am so glad to know that. He truly was "constantly active and on the go". . . he had intense energy. So much so, it was difficult for him to sit during classes and he would often stand at his desk or kneel in his chair tapping his pencil or chewing the end of it. He had more important things than academics on his mind. He was blessed with the love of his family, I am sure of that. Unfortunately, sometimes, Heaven can't wait. Cherish his memory. He'll see you again.

Pjs you were hands down an amazing person. It doesn’t seem real that your gone. You had a major impact on my life. I’ll never forget the first time we met. You had long shaggy hair with the biggest sweetest smile I’ve ever seen. You were always a charming, fun loving person who could light up every room you were in. Some of my favorite memories with you were our dances in brasher, parties at Jenna’s, countless days & evenings spent together, swimming in pville, jumping off the brasher bridge together which was your dare devil idea, countless football games cheering against you but, deep down I wanted you to get the big WIN, plus so much more. Thank you for always being there for me, for always being a friend even when our time together was over you were still there for me as I was for you. I’ll cherish the memories we made forever and I’ll never forget you. Your a kind soul, gone way before your time. Fly high and don’t forget to flex your “muscles” always.
Sending my deepest condolences to Jordan’s family & his love Meggyn. I pray that in the midst of your sorrow you find comfort in all the joyful memories shared. 🙏

JP you were a wonderful young man and I am blessed to not only have known you but to be able to call you one of "my kids"... so many laughs we shared... I will never forget the kindness and compassion you showed me and my family; like the times you brought the dogs over to play just because I missed mine, how you accepted our crazy/beautiful tribe of wild Indians and never minded the chaos of our day to day lives - "because we made that tiny place feel like HOME"...
Patty and Loren, how my heart aches for you! Thank you so much for not only raising such a beautiful boy but for sharing him with all of us!
You JP shall forever be the "Felicia" to my "Wanda" honey and I'll find you again one day under the "pickle tree", rest easy dear boy until we meet again...
