Mike - you and your family are in my heart today.  I just learned of your mom’s passing. I arrived at Boyd Pond on the 14th - if only I had been a few days sooner, I could have attended her service.  Your mom was very special - - a kind and caring person, and growing up, she and your dad were like family to me.  I have a lot of happy memories, and I know she will be missed by many.

My heartfelt thoughts and prayers for my Aunt and the family.  Aunt Kay was always a lively cheerful person while Mike and I ran around, fished, and probably made her crazy at times!!

I remember when she was our den mother for cub scouts. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone.

My deepest condolences for the loss of your beloved mother.  Your family lived next door to my Godparents, Eleanor and Leo Farnsworth and you also had a camp at Allen's Falls Flow along with my family. Your mother was such a kind, caring and happy lady. I am so sorry to hear of Kay's passing.  I always think of her when I drive by the mini bank on May Road.  I met Kay through a mutual friend many years ago, Gladys Flowler-Waldruff, who lived with us many years ago with her daughter Debbie.  My sincere sympathies to Kay's family.  She was a lovely woman.

My mother Norma Wood, was a lifelong friend of Kay. Mom passed less than a month ago. I know she really enjoyed the annual Christmas card updates and every so often seeing her in public. My dad Fred grew up in Theresa so I am pretty sure that is where the connection was originally. My sincere condolences to the family.

I am so sorry to hear  the sad news of the passing of your Mom.   She was such a sweet and  special  Lady  whose smile and exuberant personality always made my day so much better  for having crossed paths  with her.

For nearly 50 years we shared summer fun on the Flow here in
Parishville.  Kay was a bundle of energy and generosity.  We got to

The friendship blossomed through the years.

Kay and John were camp neighbors on Allen’s Falls Flow, and they were the definition of the best of neighbors and friends. We shared meals and chores and innumerable card games. The Bartlett’s and their four sons were always cheerfully helping with camp projects, especially since my father, Levi, was never hesitant to ask for help.  John and Kay were happy to share the bounty from their garden and venison from their freezer.  I arrived at camp one spring morning to do Dad’s yard work. Kay arrived immediately with her truck and helped with the clean-up, against my protestations, and we took ten loads to the landfill. Kay was already several years into her illness, but nothing could stop her from being a loving friend. We will miss you Kay.  May God hold you close. 

Mike, Pat, Rick and Steve, please accept my deep condolence for the loss of your Mother. She and I passed Christmas cards until she wasn't able the last few years.
You guys and me and my sister never got to be very close as we were down in Watertown & you were up north. I was a 1st cousin once removed from your father which makes us 2nd cousins. I live in Rochester now.
