Mr. Lloyd Thomas Kennedy, age 86 of West Stockholm, NY passed away at the St. Regis Nursing Home on May 28th where he had been a patient since February 28th. Friends may call at the Garner Funeral Service on Friday, June 1st from 1-3 pm. Funeral Service will take place at 3 pm with Rev. Lee Sweeney celebrant at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Potsdam Humane Society.
He is survived by his daughter Sharon (Richard) Tucker, step daughter Amber (Randy) Lindsey, stepson Stephen Lindsey, sisters Jeanette Kennedy and Betty Bartlett, grandsons Richard Tucker and his companion Candee Smith and Stephen Tucker, granddaughters Elizabeth and Ella Tucker and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his step son Phillip Brazee, sister Alice Kennedy and his brother William Kennedy.
Mr. Lloyd Thomas Kennedy was born on April 22, 1932 in Stockholm, NY to Lloyd Kennedy and Huldah Cummings. He attended Potsdam schools. He served in the United States Army from 1950-1956. He had a marriage to Phyllis LaFay that ended in divorce. Thomas worked for years for Fisher/Rexford Construction in Colton. He was a member of the laborer’s union for over 55 years. He also worked for many other people on the side doing projects for them. He was an animal lover and loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren.
