Dear Russell family,

Tink was younger than me, but I remember watching him wrestle and having a lot of respect for his ability and toughness. I saw him twice at PCS Athletic Hall of Fame inductions, most recently last fall, and I could see what it meant to him. Very sorry about this.

Prayers and condolences to Laurie and the entire family. Tink left us way too early but is in God's kingdom...
I'll always remember his big, warm smile and great sense of humor! Few complaints, no excuses. Hugely competitive and dedicated friend and teammate. Served our country proudly as a Marine! He always had your back...All these traits describe "old school" character. Tink will be missed but never forgotten.

I have great memories of our shared times in high school and beyond. Nearly 50 years. You beating me up on the wrestling mat and teaching me a lesson. A laugh and a smile when things were the hardest. Letters back and forth when you were in your 20's in the Marines seeing the world. I ate fantastic veggies out of your gardens. Even though we spent our adult lives in different states we stayed in contact. Laurie was your perfect match. She let you tinker but kept you mostly in line. You stayed upbeat on our last conversation despite your illness. Why would I ever expect less? I thank you for being a great friend, for great memories and for the lessons you taught me. Scott

Dear Laurie, Linda, Rick, Tammy and family:

I am so very sorry to learn of Tink's passing. Even though departed sister Sherry had been married to my brother, I had never had the opportunity and pleasure to meet Tink until his Hall of Fame induction this past September at Potsdam Central. Such a nice guy who has passed along far too early. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
