From his early years, Bob carried himself with a steady sense of purpose and perseverance. He attended Parishville-Hopkinton School, where the foundations of a life marked by diligence and integrity were set—qualities that would remain evident in the way he met each season of life with quiet strength.
Bob proudly served in the Army, a chapter that reflected both courage and resilience. Throughout his life, he was known for his straightforward honesty, steadfast loyalty, and a patient, dependable presence that others could count on. Even in serious moments, Bob’s gentle humor could surface at just the right time, offering comfort and easing the weight of the day.
Outside of duty and work, Bob found his greatest peace in the outdoors. He loved fishing and hunting, and he especially valued time spent with family—simple moments that became lasting memories through his kind-hearted nature and consistent devotion to those he loved.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Taylor. He is survived by his daughters, Roberta Taylor (James Barney) and Lynn White (Richard); his stepdaughter, Rebecca LaRock; and his stepson, Benjamin Fisher (Heather), 7 siblings, 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
