I cherish the wonderful memories showing our horses together. Rod & Mary Jo we’re so wonderful to me when they opened up their home, when staying in the area for a horse clinic many years ago. I’ll always remember how much fun we had. I’m saddened by our loss of such a kind and wonderful man. I’ve thought of him many times over the years.

Rod was such a wonderful neighbor on Higley. He was so very positive in every contact I ever had with him. He never failed to offer help or ask about my grandchildren. He will be missed.

We will remember Rod's caring ways throughout the years when he helped Carole's father with his furnace needs. Carole's late father, Carl Coller, always talked so highly of Rod and how understanding he was with a small farming family trying to make a living. As the principal of Lawrence Avenue Elementary, I was able to witness Rod and Mary Jo's love for their grandchildren, and the support they provided Rhys and Carys by always being there through their years in elementary school. Rod was a gentle and kind man who will be greatly missed.
God Bless.
