Both Sally and Larry House were my first contacts with the Almanzo and Laura Ingalls Wilder Historic Farm in Malone over 20 years ago and they welcomed me there for a first visit from Colorado in 2000. I always appreciated Sally's contagious enthusiasm for her family and the preservation of local history. Even though we only met in person a few times, Sally always remembered our chats and shared passions in preserving Wilder history for future generations. My sincere condolences to all the extended House family.

I met Sally in the early 80s and attended a Laura Ingalls Wilder event at her house in Malone. Over the years I've made many trips back to New York and always included a visit with Sally. Sometimes we just shared memories and thoughts at her home and other times we would go out to lunch. Her enthusiasm
never dwindled! Bernice Scott and I enjoyed a fun day at the camp on Lake Titus with Sally and Larry.
I will miss her Christmas cards!
She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile. Cherish your memories.
