I was sadden to hear of Wayne's passing, my heart and prayers go to his family and friends. I had the pleasure of working with him at Colonial Stores many years ago as we both worked our way up to management.
We had lost the connection over the years until I ran across him through my brother Buddy who also had worked with him . His ability to make us laugh never diminished even though he was experiencing pain and suffering, I truly believe he is in God's hands now looking down on us.
Wayne, you are one of a kind, RIP my brother until we meet again.

He loved coffee, a lot of it , like a big thermos full, in the early early morning , at least some years ago.
Laughter and Honor , that's Wayne Edney.

I'll always remember Wayne as being a nice guy, i knew him by living next door to his in laws the Ashleys and he and Michelle would come there, had a lot of long talks with Wayne and we'd see each other at the grocery store or sometimes out to breakfast . Wayne had a way of making you feel good about yourself and would help anyone in need. He surely will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear about the Loss of Mr. Wayne Edney. I worked with him for a few years, and I was his backup. He was very hilarious and knowledgeable. He called me "Ms. NEW YORK" because he said my attitude , style, and directness exudes NY. Lol. I'll take that. Anyways, my condolences to Ms. Michelle , he really doted on you. Also, my thoughts and prayers are with his children who he loved dearly and to the whole Edney Family . Praying for God's peace and comfort in your time of transition. GOD'S MANY BLESSINGS!

It hurts so, to loose our friends. It hurts more to know they suffer. Wayne you were a true inspiration to us all in your final days. Your faith and strength was so uplifting. You always kept us laughing, so many years ago, but we always got the job done. We moved away and lost contact. So glad social network reconnected us again, and I saw that humor of yours one more time. I will miss you, my friend. My sincere condolences to Michelle and Wayne's family. May God wrap his comforting arms around you. Keep his precious memories locked in your hearts.
