Bonnie was born on October 2, 1964 in Penn Yan, NY, daughter of the late Nelson and Doris Bennett. Bonnie was a life long resident of Pulteney and Prattsburgh. She was a graduate of Hammondsport Central School. She had many jobs over the years but had fond memories of Taylor’s Wine Company and her family-owned business the Snow and Mow Shop in Prattsburgh. Bonnie’s spunky outgoing personality was known to anyone walking in the Snow and Mow door. Bonnie enjoyed camping, riding four wheeler and snowmobile, her Ford Mustangs, playing games on the computer, and spending time with her family and friends. Her door was always open to neighborhood kids needing a place to stay.
Bonnie is survived by her husband and life-long best friend, Timothy Hoose; son, Timothy Hoose II; daughter, Rebecca Hoose; brothers, James (Vicki) Bennett, Joseph Bennett, Daniel Bennett, Lester Hoose Jr., Stephen (Deb) Hoose; sisters, Becky (Jason) Tears, Tammy (Neal) Robbins, and Carrie (Toby) Malone; and mother and father in law, Rebecca and Lester Hoose. She is also has many friends and family (nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles). She will be greatly missed and loved.
Friends and family may call from 1 to 3pm and 5 to 7pm on Thursday, September 5th, 2013 at the United Methodist Church in Prattsburgh. Her memorial service will be held immediately follow at the church at 7pm.
Memorial donations may be made in Bonnie’s memory to the Wilmot Cancer Center at Strong Memorial Hospital, University of Rochester Medical Center, 601 Elmwood Ave., Box 704, Rochester, NY 14642.
