A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday April 10th at 10AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Prattsburgh. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2 – 5 PM at the Bottoni- Wood Funeral Home, Prattsburgh.

She was born in Rochester February 18, 1939 to Frank and Dorothy Walker Murphy. She graduated from the Nazareth High School. She married John K Goebel Jr., May 23rd, 1959 in Rochester. She served as Deputy Clerk for the Town of Jerusalem for many years.

She was a member of the Daughters of Charity at ST. Patrick’s Church, volunteered at the food pantry and was active in the church as a reader and greeter.

She is survived by her husband John of the home, six children, John III (Linda) and James (Rosa), all of Ontario, Theresa Goebel, Matthews, NC, Jeffrey (Julie), Macedon, Timothy (Terri), Walworth and Christine (Joe) Burke, Manlius. She has 15 grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Sandra(Floyd) Holden, Brockport, as well as many close friends.

She is predeceased by a sister Barbara Skinner.
