Gordon C. Cosler

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, July 22 from 10:00-11:00am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Prattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00am, burial to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Gordon’s name to St. Patrick’s Church, 210 Keuka St., Penn Yan, NY 14527, Homestead Activities, 418 N. Main St., Penn Yan, NY 14527 or charity of one’s choice.

Gordon was born on March 5, 1927 in Binghamton, NY the son of the late George & Viola (Coulter) Cosler. He served in the Navy. Retired from Kodak. Gordon enjoyed camping, being a member of the “Minnie Winnies” RV Group. He loved hunting and the outdoors.

He is survived by his children, Joseph (Gail) of Prattsburgh, Rick (Laura) of Miami, FL, Sheila (John) Woedy of Richmond, TX; grandchildren, Amanda (Jim) Sprague, Jarrod Cosler, Matthew (Mary) Cosler, Andrew (Amanda) Cosler, Katie (Ben) Spencer, Andre Woedy, Ashley Woedy; great grandchildren, Isabel Sprague, Makayla Spencer, Haley Spencer. Gordon was predeceased by his wife, Stella (Socola) Cosler on October 4, 2007; siblings, Leonard “Bud”, Clifford “Pete”, Jane.
