Harry Baran

He is predeceased by his daughter, Lisa Baran Robertson, his brother, Myron Baran, and his sister, Stella Pieczyrak.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina (Ken) Goodman and grandchildren, Chase, Chloe and Kiley Goodman of Dublin,OH. He is also survived by his sister, Jean Makuch, of Schenectady, NY and many nieces and nephews.

He served in the US Army from 1955-1962. Harry was a highly skilled carpenter and was particularly proud to receive his Life Membership card from the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America having completed 50 years of membership. He is a brother of Local Union 276.

Harry raised his 2 daughters as a single parent. He lived by his conviction that you should never run away from your problems and never let fear stop you from doing the right thing.

Friends and family may call from 12 pm to 1pm on Saturday, January 7, 2017 with a service at 1pm at the Bottoni-Wood Funeral Home, 4 Mechanic St., Prattsburgh, NY. Interment will follow with Military Honors at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Prattsburgh.
