

Born in the Town of Erwin on October 1, 1915, she was the second daughter of Harriett Alliene Southworth Mallory and Albert Mallory. She was a 1933 graduate of Painted Post High School and went to work at the former Ingersoll Rand Company in the Purchasing Department. She married Frederick E. Fryer on May 15, 1937 at the Painted Post Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Carl Grabb. They lived in Painted Post; Savona; SanDiego, California; Sanaro, NY and Campbell, NY. Mrs. Fryer was a former member of the Campbell Presbyterian Church and transferred to the Savona Federated Church; she joined the Savona Chapter No. 614 O.E.S. on March 23, 1944 and was Past Matron in 1957 and Grand Chaplain of the Grand Chapter, State of NY, O.E.S. in 1971; and held other various positions.
Mrs. Fryer was predeceased in death by her husband, Judge Fred Fryer in 1986; son, Alan Fryer in 1963; sisters, Doris Gleason and Geraldine Kirby; and her parents.
She is survived by her son, William; daughter, Sharon Hallenbeck both of Campbell; 3 grandchildren: Barbara Underhill-Fryer, Richard Fryer and Linda Wilson; 9 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. In addition there are 4 step grandchildren; 8 step great grandchildren; 4 step great-great grandchildren.
It is her request that there be no calling hours. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo, NY on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 2:00pm. A reception will be held at the family home on Center St., Campbell on November 15, 2014 from 1:00-4:00pm.
