
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel. Graveside funeral services will be held at the Tatum Family Cemetery on Wednesday February 11th at 2:00 PM with Pastor Joey Bentley officiating.
Mrs. Tatum was born August 16, 1927 in Autauga County to the late William and Ila Mayo Holloman.
She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and was a friend to all who knew her. She will always be remembered for her kindness to others and never turned away anyone in need. She enjoyed gardening and was a lifelong member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Mrs. Tatum was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Emmett O’Neil Tatum.
She is survived by her three sons and daughters in law; Buck and Vivian Tatum of Deatsville, John and Becky Tatum of Deatsville, Tommy and Sue Tatum of Prattville; four daughters, Ann Zarych of Seffner, Fl., Lou Day and her husband Tim of Radcliffe, Ky., Anna Tant and her husband Jack of Deatsville, Pat Rhodes of Deatsville, 24 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild, a special friend, John Grier, a host of nieces, nephews and other close family members and two loving companions “Redbug” and GirlieMae”.
