Barbara Ann Chandler

Chandler, Barbara Ann, 63, of Autaugaville, AL, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2023. She was born on November 4, 1959, to Willie Carl “Billy” and Sara Ann Moore. Barbara led a remarkable life filled with love, compassion, and a heart for the Lord.

Barbara was proceeded in death by her father, Billy Moore; brother, Ricky Moore; father-in-law, Joe Chandler; and mother-in-law, Dot Chandler.

Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Walter Chandler; children, Brad (Monica) Chandler and Adam (Mercedes) Chandler; grandchildren, JoAnna, Camdyn, and Knox; mother, Ann Moore; brother, Bobby (Beth) Moore; sister-in-law, Audrey (Billy) Quarles; one niece, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Ridouts Prattville Chapel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 11:00 am at Milton Baptist Church with Bro. David Awtrey and Bro. Paul Atchison officiating. Pallbearers will be Adam Day, Austin Moore, DeWayne Chandler, Wade Chandler, Ricky Herring, and Mike Chastain. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Quarles, Phillip Chandler, and Lawrence Chandler. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Milton Baptist Church cemetery.
