GILMORE, Betty J., 81, a lifetime Prattville resident, passed away Friday January 25, 2013. Mrs. Gilmore was born October 7, 1931 in Autauga County to the late Filmore and Roma Ross. She was preceded in death by her husband Huie Gilmore. Survivors include a daughter, Cindy McCallister, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Stan and Jennifer Gilmore, Chris Gilmore all of Prattville; one brother, Lonnie C. Ross; six sisters, Ann Gilmore, Joyce Ballard, Priscilla Collins, Mary Jo Adams, Lucy Iser and Donnie Sue Wise; seven grandchildren, Courtney Creel and her husband Matt, Mary McCallister, Sarah McCallister, McKenzie Gilmore, Mason Gilmore, Jordan Gilmore, Will Gilmore, three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and many other close relatives. The family would like to express their grateful appreciation to the staff of Baptist Medical Center South for their constant and compassionate care. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Boone’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Rodney Culpepper officiating. There will be no visitation.
