He is preceded in death by his parents, Russell Tatum and Gladys Griffith, and brothers, Horace Tatum, Jimmy Tatum and William Tatum.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra Tatum; daughters, Melody Koorangi (Gholam), Lynn Ashcraft (Mark), Jennifer Anderson (Quinn), Amy Clackler (Steven); grandchildren, Cameron Koorangi (Candace), Whitney Glass (Ben), John Mark Ashcraft, Joshua Ashcraft (Megan), Joshua Clackler (Leah), Kelsey Clackler and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Ridout's-Brown-Service Prattville Chapel, 347 E Main St, Prattville, Alabama 36067, on October 8, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service on October 8, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
A Committal Service will take place at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115, on October 9, 2026, at 10:15 am.
