Bonnie Atcheson

Bonnie Sue Atcheson, Age 93, of Autaugaville, Alabama, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday morning, August 28, 2025. She was born in Chilton County to James Fulton and Ollie Marie Kincaid. She is preceded in death by her son Kenneth David, her Great Granddaughter Abby Atcheson, her sister Francis Raspberry, her brother James Monroe Kincaid, and her parents Fulton and Ollie Kincaid.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Moore, her children Benjamin F. Atcheson III (Brenda), Barbara Atcheson, Tommy Atcheson (Terri), Tim Atcheson, Daughter in law, Janice Atcheson; Grandchildren David Atcheson, Steve Atcheson, Michael Atcheson, Benjamin Atcheson (Alicia), Brandon Atcheson (Amanda), Jennifer McDaniel (Michael),Bethany Hall (Scott), Lynsey Atcheson, Trevor Atcheson, and 19 Great Grandchildren.

Bonnie was an active, faithful member of Autaugaville Baptist Church where she served and taught for 71 years. She taught multiple Sunday School Classes, served in Vacation Bible School, and numerous women’s mission projects, to include many mission trips to other states. She was known by her positions as store clerk, Walmart associate, restaurant server, and services in schools where her children attended.

She loved her Lord and made sure all her children received salvation in the Lord.

Bonnie enjoyed gardening, preparing holiday meals for her children, her domino club, and church activities.

She will surely be missed by all.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 1:00PM at Autaugaville Baptist Church with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Rocky HIll Cemetery in Autaugaville.

Pallbearers will be her Grandsons—Steve Atcheson, David Atcheson, Michael Atcheson, Trevor Atcheson, Benjamin Atcheson, and Brandon Atcheson.

Honorary pallbearers are the ladies of the “No Name” Domino club.
