She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Helen Golden; brother, Ralph Golden and sister, Lydia Anderson.
Brenda is survived by her daughter, Melody Cogburn; grandson, Myles Johnson and great granddaughters, Mia Schofield, Addilyn Johnson and nephew, Tanner Golden (Emily).
Brenda was a graduate of Auburn University and worked for the State of Alabama where she worked for many years as an accountant before her retirement. She loved her family and her animals very much.
As per Brenda's wishes, the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
