Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of almost 52 years, George C. Wainwright; her parents, Herman and Doris Caver; and her great-grandson, Jackson LeJeune.
She is survived by her three children, Brenda Thompson (Shannon), Tony Wainwright (Valeria), and Tina Burrous (Kevin); six grandchildren, Robin Jungferman (Donnie), Trey Davis (Candace), Drew Wainwright, Dorisee Richards, Payton LeJeune (Anthony), and Luke Wainwright; and 13 great-grandchildren. Sister Wanda Caver and numerous extended family members.
Brenda also leaves behind her special companion, Mr. James Banks, and his family, as well as her dear friend, Carol Roy, whose love and friendship meant so much to her.
Brenda retired from the Billingsley Senior Center, where she spent many years serving her community. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially spending time with her church family, playing dominoes, and participating in activities surrounded by friends and fellowship.
Above all, Brenda will be remembered for the love she shared with her family, the friendships she treasured, and the memories she leaves behind. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church at Posey Crossroads, 576 County Road 40, Prattville, Al 36067, on October 13, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at First Baptist Church at Posey Crossroads, 576 County Road 40, Prattville, AL, on October 13, 2026, at 12:00 pm, with Rev. Tom Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery, County Rd. 42, Marbury, AL.
Pallbearers will be Drew Wainwright, Luke Wainwright, Adam Pendley, Eddie Davis, Rodney Mullins, and Dewayne Mullins.
