Brooks Lamar Lazenby

LAZENBY, Brooks Lamar, age 44, a resident of Prattville, AL passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Artis and Ethel Lazenby. Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Lazenby; two daughters, Kaitlyn and Braidyn Lazenby; parents, Lamar and Billie Joyce Lazenby; one sister and brother-in-law, Laurie and John Wesley; mother and father-in-law, Sam and Mary DiCarlo; brother-in-law, Sam (Rebecca) DiCarlo; grandparents, Billy and Gloria Meriwether; two nephews, Andrew Wesley and Zachry DiCarlo; one niece, Cheyanne DiCarlo and numerous other relatives. The family will receive friends Friday, May 4, 2012 at 2:00 PM from Prattville First Baptist Church followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00 PM with Dr. Travis Coleman officiating. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Gregory Gray, Jeff Stockman, Buddy Buckner, Scott Kramer, Eddie Hillman, Joey Gray, Ron Feild, Ron Thweatt, John Lyon and Brian Scott. Memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church Youth Ministries and 4 By Grace Ministries, 138 S. Washington St., Prattville, AL 36067. Brooks was a loving and faithful husband, father, brother, son and friend. He was a man of great moral character and integrity. Always humble and generous with a song in his heart.
