

Burl Jerome “Jerry” Wharton, went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2021. He was born to Burl Sr. and Peggy Allen Wharton, on January 3, 1951. Jerry was born and raised in Odessa, TX. He served in the Vietnam War. He met his current wife in 1980. They lived in Las Vegas for 25 years before moving to Pahrump, NV. In 2020 they moved to Montgomery, Alabama and then moved to Clanton, Alabama in 2021. Jerry was retired but spent most of his life as a salesman. In his later he sold cars and RV’s. He said selling RV’s was selling people “fun” and he enjoyed that the most.
Jerry like fishing, playing cards and games with his family and friends. He was a good family man and was the best husband and father a woman could ask for. He passed away due to complications of pneumonia.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pam Wharton of Clanton, Alabama; sons, Brandon Wharton of Clanton, Alabama and Camdon Wharton of Uniontown, Arkansas; daughters, Jennifer Milano of Newark, Delaware; Donna Wallce of Alma, Arkansas and his 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Pam Tyler (Eric), of Pintlala, Alabama and Pat Fry of Clanton, Alabama.
Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Reeder of Las Vegas, NV and step father, Jim Reeder of Las Vegas, NV; and brother, Larry Wharton of Las Vegas, NV.
Jerry was deeply loved and will be truly missed by all.
