WALKER, Charles Wayne, age 65, a resident of Deatsville, AL passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Betty Walker and a grand-son, John Wayne Walker. Survivors include his wife, Debra Strops Walker; six daughters, Christine (Curtis) Williams, Cynthia (Garrick) Gonzalez, Debbie (Thomas) Hoke, Heather (Chad) Giddens, Wendy (Al) Thomas and Rebecca Hoke; six grand-daughters and six grand-sons; sister, Marian (Pete) Knight; brother, Jerry (Anita) Walker and other numerous relatives.
Many thanks to Carmen Michele Wilson and Gentiva Hospice nurses for their loving care during Mr. Walker’s illness.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Gentiva Hospice of Montgomery, AL.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, July 26, 2013 at 2:00 PM from Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with Rev. Rockey Pearce and Buck Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Booth Cemetery.
