Tuesday April 7, 2015. Charlie was born in Norfolk, Virginia on March 7, 1951 to the late Charlie Junior Knowles and Mary Elizabeth Jones Knowles.
He was a retired electrical superintendent and supervisor after a long career in the industrial construction field including many years of service with the Flour-Daniels Company. He enjoyed outdoor sports including golf, deep sea fishing, boating and football.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Carol "CJ". They had over twenty seven cherished years together and loved one another beyond measure. Other survivors include Carol’s daughters, Stephanie (Chip) Pilcher, Melissa (Matt) Wright, Heather (Brent) Justice; six grandchildren; close friends Billy and Charlotte Cox, Ed Mauldin and Timmy Hines.
