BYRD, Christopher Lee, 25, a resident of Autaugaville, AL, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 25, 2013. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Irene Byrd; aunt, Cathy Sanderson. He is survived by his three year old son, Nathan Byrd; parents David and Debbie Byrd; sisters, Nicole Byrd and Jessica Byrd; his grandparents, Lafayette and Frances Sanderson; Nathan’s mom Jennifer Cozza and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be Cameron Hartzog, Cris Boyd, Dan Gaines, Daniel Wainwright, Jacob Taylor, Jesse Rogers, Matthew Johnson, Tanner Golden. Honorary Pallbearers will be the second shift correctional officers of Draper Prison.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Autaugaville United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Patterson and Rev. Anthony Antonelli officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, or a charity of choice.
