Mrs. Allred was one of the most gracious ladies I knew growing up at FBC Prattville. She epitomized that generation of women, who understood innately how to remain gentle, ladylike and kind, even as they calmly and efficiently managed their homes, their classrooms, their schools, et al with all the skill of a military commander or a corporate CEO. I was and am in awe of them, and her. Thank you, Mrs.. Allred for your faith and example; we won’t see your like again.

It was a joy working at Prattville Primary School under Mrs. Allred's leadership. I had the greatest respect for her. She demonstrated dedication and compassion for the faculty and students at PPS.

I am so very sorry for you loss. I grew up in the First Baptist Church as was Baptized by Rev. Allred. Mrs. Allred taught me in Church and school and I have the fondest memories of them both. Sending prayers.

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Allred’s passing. She was one of my teachers long ago. She was kind, patient and had a beautiful smile always ready for us upon arriving at school. Sweet sweet lady.

It was a joy to see Mrs. Allred at church on Sunday mornings. She always had a kind word for me. I loved to see her sweet smile. I know she is with Jesus and completely healed,
Praying for all her family.

Our friendship with Corine began fifty years ago. Both Corine and her husband, Don, welcomed us into their family at a time when my own family was thousands of miles away. She was such a strong woman but with the wonderful charm and grace of a Southern lady. Of all the saints in Heaven there is now one named Corine to join them. Our love goes with her. Mom was not originally a dog person but she tolerated many pets over the years to please us and our dad. She came to love them, including Duffy, then Rudy, and now little Quincy, who is looking for her. Mom, I am so proud of you and grateful for your strength and love. I love you and will always miss you.
