David Phillip Crosswy

David Phillip Crosswy age 82 of Deatsville, Al, formally of Sylacauga, Al, passes away on January 17, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carey and Nell Crosswy; brothers, Judson and Daniel Crosswy; sister, Jane Crosswy; and granddaughter, Keleigh Noble. He is survived by his wife, Susan Crosswy; children, Bruce Crosswy (Cheryl) and Lisa Gray (Duane); grandchildren, Ashlynn Gilbert, Emma Crosswy, Gavin Crosswy and Amber Crosswy; great grandchildren, Mason and Skylar Ortega; sister, Carmen McClellan (David)stepdaughter, Lena Noel and her son, Collin Cox (Desiree) and his children Hannah and Hailey along with her other son Caleb Cornett (Abby) and his children Peyton and Stella; stepsons, Larry Marsh (Rachel) along with his daughter Brinley Marsh and Vincent March (Rachel) along with his son Jack Marsh.

David was born in Sylacauga, Al in 1942. He served in the United States Army from 1961-1964 and was honorably discharged as a E4 Sargent. He was an avid Alabama Football fan. He loved deer hunting and fishing. He loved his family very much and would do anything for them or anyone else if he could. He never met a stranger and was known as “The Legend” in his industry.
