I will cherish the memories I have had with this amazing woman of God. She resembles everything I hope to become. Her love for The Lord was abundant and an example for all to strive to reach. I am thankful for Mrs. Adams for numerous things, but ultimately bringing me to East memorial Christian Academy when my schools doors shut. She is the reason I have a better education, have lifelong friends and memories, and reconnected with The Lord. I cannot thank her enough for her persistence in our education as a student body and her inspiring smile that lit up the room daily!! Love you Mrs. Adams and though it's tough to remember, but you're the one in the better place right now! Shining your light upon us and still guiding us in the right direction!

Mrs. Adams,
Thank you for directing people like myself in the ways of the Lord. It was something I will never forget. I always loved how you would always share scripture in class. I remember one of your favorites was Galatians 6:9 "And let us not be weary in well doing for in due season we will reap if we faint not". I know you are enjoying Heaven right now!

When I was in her English class in the 8th grade, I loved listening to her stories. I remember she had a container of cards she kept from her previous students that had their names, hobbies, and prayer requests from years ago. She told us that she still pulled a card every day and prayed for them. I also filled one out for her and I really believe she prayed for me.
Another story that I haven't yet forgotten was her "rotten chicken" story. I can't remember the exact story but I remember that whenever we used incorrect grammar like double negatives or southern slang she would call us out and say "Rotten chicken." That still comes to my mind from time to time whenever I hear someone use grammar incorrectly.
