Dear Murphree family, I knew Debra fairly well.  We were friends and we did talk on occasion on the telephone. I hadn't thought about or talked to her in years and something recently reminded me of her and got me wondering how she was doing. This is how I found out about her passing. What I know and remember about Debra was her kindness to me and her openness. Please except by belated condolences and know that Debra was loved by me and many who knew her. Debbie was the most energetic and funny kid when we were young! As an adult, she never lost that sense of humor or her optimism, no matter what was thrown her way. Heartfelt condolences to the family.

Debbie was the most beautiful, loving, kind person I've ever known.  A love for God, family, nature, animals, and all people around her. And a wonderful sense of humor. She was adored by a multitude. I will always treasure her memory.
