Delores Marie Harris

Delores Marie White Harris, born July 14, 1938, passed peacefully August 15, 2017. Visitation will be Friday, August 18, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with Rev. Glenn Graham officiating, followed by her funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery. She is preceded in death by her husband, Guy Harris, Jr. (Buddy). Delores and Guy had one child, Teresa Gail Harris Workman and son-in-law, Troy Alpha Workman, both long-time residents of Prattville, Alabama; 3 grandchildren, Jason Workman of Alabama, Joy M. Douglas of Alabama, and Jessica A. Southerland of Alabama; 3 great grandchildren, Joshua A. Workman of Alabama, Jasmine E. Workman of Mississippi, and Breylan Workman of Mississippi. Delores was a member of East Memorial Baptist Church. She was a long time resident of Prattville, Alabama. Delores was an accountant by trade and worked many years in Cleveland, Ohio at Horsburgh & Scott. She and Guy moved to Alabama in the early 80’s or late 70’s. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
