Donald W Ray III

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald W. Ray Jr. and his siblings, Robert Ray and Donna Ray.

He is survived by his wife of just shy of 54 years, Camellia Gentry Ray; his children, Donna (Chris) Krafcheck, Michelle (Bryan) Sheffield and Sonya Gayle Ray. He also leaves behind his grandchildren; Christopher Sheffield, Cindy (Elijah) Saucier, Morgan (John) Potts, Michael (Kileigh) Shelton, Mason Hughes Krafcheck, Joanna Elizabeth Ray and Great Granddaughter; Lilly Kate Sheffield.

Donald was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran with a gift for making everyone feel like a friend. He loved the outdoors, cherished a good laugh and held his family close to his heart.

The family will have a private Navy burial at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.
