Doris Jean Motely, 79, of Billingsley, passed away March, 4, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Doris Caver; siblings, Brenda Wainright and Wanda Caver. She is survived by her husband, Leo Motely; children, Mike Motley, Darlene Stinson (Ray), Ken Motley and Wayne Motely (Misti); grandchildren, “Little” Leo Motely, John Wallace, Crystal Bryant (Alex), Trina Greenwell (Walker), and Crimson Motley; great grandchildren, Kinleigh Foster, Carson Bryant and Owen Bryant.
Doris was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family dearly. She also loved to travel visiting almost every state in the United States.
A visitation for Doris will be Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Ridouts Prattville Chapel from 5:00 – 7:00 PM with the funeral service taking place Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Big Springs Baptist Church at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Rawlinson Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be “Little” Leo Motley, John Wallace, Alex Bryant, Walker Greenwell, Randy Motely and Burt Ousley.
