He was a 1988 graduate of Prattville High School and served in the United States Navy during the Gulf War aboard the USS John F. Kennedy Aircraft Carrier in the ship’s fire control section. He received the National Defense Medal and was honorably discharged as a Disabled Wartime Veteran when he was only 23 years old.
He battled Type 1 Diabetes and complications from his illness for many years.
He is survived by his mother, Brenda Brewer; grandmother Emeline Brewer; father Edmond Keith; daughters Brandi, Rebecca and Elizabeth Keith; sisters Tammy Keith (Brian) Sherrill, Rachel Patillo (Jason) Rhodes; brother Michael Jones; grandchildren Aiden and Addison; nephew Jacob and a host of beloved cousin and close friends.
Funeral services with Military Honors will be held Wednesday February 5th at 11:00 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Alabama Hwy 119, Montevallo, Alabama.
