Eddie Dean Fleming went to his new Heavenly Home peacefully from his home on Saturday, March 30, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Fleming; mother, Davean Rawlinson; father-in-law, Richard Causey; and sister-in-law, Sandra Frost. He is survived by his wife of 52 years who he loved dearly, Linda Diane (Causey) Fleming; mother-in-law, Mildred June Causey; 1 sister, Rita Carter (Tommy); 2 sons, Gary Fleming (Amanda) and Richard Fleming (Sandra); daughter, Crystal Mims; 1 grandson, Coleman Fleming; 6 granddaughters, Kylee Mims (Brandon Ellis), Kayla Free (Lane), Finley Fleming, Brianna Fontaine (Brandon), Emily Fleming and Shelby Mims; and 3 great-grand daughters, Blakelyn, Kallie, Hallie Ellis; fur baby, Ella; sister-in-law, Charlotte McGalliard (Curtis); and brother-in-law, James Frost (Janice). He loved his family and was so proud of them.
Eddie loved Alabama Football, His church, camping, and all the many trips his wife would line up for him to take her on.
A funeral service for Eddie will be held on Wednesday April 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM with a visitation 1 hour prior at Boones Chapel with a graveside following at Boones Chapel Cemetery as well as Pastor Matt Hall officiating. Pallbearers will be Coleman Fleming, Brandon Ellis, Doug McNeal, Kenneth McGalliard, Clayton McGalliard, Jamie Frost, Matt Carter and Lane Free.
