Edith Marie Taylor

Edith Marie Taylor, age 86, of Prattville, Alabama passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Buster P. Taylor; her only son, Larry Taylor and her parents, William H. McBrayer and Mildred McBrayer. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Marie Spigener; grandson's Michael A. Brand, Leslie DeLoach and Larry B. Taylor Jr.; sister, Sally Jane Hull and her two sister in laws Frances Taylor (Charles Taylor, deceased) and Thelma Hunt (Harold). Marie worked her entire work-life in the Textile Industry. First with Gurney Industries and then Prattville Apparel. She and her husband Buster ran a family farm until his death in 1997. She canned their food in mason jars and filled up her freezer every season with vegetables, and then peddled or gave away what was left. Marie was a wonderful story-teller. She loved music, and singing and dancing. She loved dogs, especially Mollie. She lived a quiet and simple life of kindness to others. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
