Mr.Pete had the personality that you loved to be around ! We worked together as school bus drivers. I was lucky enough to have met him 16 years ago and from day one he never changed ! when we would see each other whether it was driving the bus or on the bus garage parking lot he would always give me as I would say a military type salute and I would give him one back . Mr.Pete I will never forget you my dear friend !!

I will always remember Mr. Pete working in the cafeteria at Prattville Elementary. He was always talking to and kidding around with my students. After he retired from PES, he would always speak to me and say something funny to me whenever he saw me. His smiling face and joking ways will truly be missed by me.

Miss you already,

We knew Mr. Pete as a wonderful caring man who loved his job and his precious "kids" that were entrusted to him on his bus route. We will miss his warm smile. My son Luke, one of his "kids", truly loved him. Our favorite memory is him singing and laughing with Luke on the bus and calling him a "cutter" because Luke was always cutting up on the bus.

My memory of Mr. Pete is of him always picking on me. He sees me and says move out of the way. Ever since I have met him. He has been so sweet and always a kind hearted man. You could tell that he loved working as a school bus driver. He always had a heart with working with the special needs children. I believe that Mr. Pete was the best man that anyone could know. Mr. Pete you will be missed from me. I love you Mr. Pete. And, fly high. Love, ya always Shelly Gentry.

Mr. Pete will forever hold a special place in my heart for the special way he treated my son, Drew. Mr. Pete always went above and beyond what was required of him when it came to the kids on his school bus. I will always remember doing the “Friday Dance” with him and Mrs Milene every Friday that Drew rode their bus. We love you both so much.
