BATSON, Eugene L. “Peanut”, 38, a Prattville resident, passed away Saturday May 28, 2011. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday June 1st at 11:00 AM at the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Adger, Alabama with the Reverend Tommy Wayne Johnson officiating. Mr. Batson was preceded in death by his father, Eugene L. Batson, III and a sister, Rebecca Fay Batson. He is survived by his mother, Eleanor Batson of Prattville; a brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Kerri Batson of Wetumpka; a nephew, Miguel Batson; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Tuesday (tomorrow) evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel.
