COLBURN, Floyd A., age 85, a resident of Prattville, AL passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Colburn, daughter, Kay Colburn Norris and a brother-in-law, Horace W. Cook. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy (David Motley) Brooks; one brother, Moran Colburn; son-in-law, Garry W. Norris and sister-in-law, Janie Cook; five grandchildren, Christie Jeffus, Hannah Brooks, Cole Norris, Seth Motley and Ashley Motley; two great-grandchildren, Christin and Genna Waddle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday (today) from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be Friday, September 16, 2011 at 2:00 PM from Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with Dr. Travis Coleman. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens.
