

HARTLEY, Frank Judson, 85, a Millbrook resident, passed away Sunday September 18, 2011. Visitation will be held on Friday October 7, 2011 at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by graveside funeral service at 2:30 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo with the Reverend Nelson Cash officiating. Military Honors and Masonic Burial Rites will be accorded. The family invites everyone to a Celebration of Life Service to be held Saturday October 8th. at 2:00 PM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel. Mr. Hartley was born November 27, 1925 in Savannah, Georgia to the late Guy and Odessa Eberhardt Hartley. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and was wounded in action while serving in the Pacific Theatre. He continued his military career and enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War for a total of twelve years of continuous service. He then worked for the U. S. Justice Department, Bureau of Federal Prisons and retired after twenty years of service. Mr. Hartley was proud of his family and his country. He was a man of many interest and collectables and always had a kind word for everyone. He is survived by his loving wife of forty-six years, Tina; their daughter, Sabrina Seureau of Houston, Texas and two grandsons, Scott Marsters, Jr. and Glenn Seureau. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
