Wainwright, George Collier, 74, a resident of Prattville, Al passed away Thursday January 12, 2017. Funeral services will be Sunday January 15, 2017 from First Baptist Church of Posey Cross Roads at 3:00 pm with Tommy Roy and Ricky Smith officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 1:00 until 3:00 on Sunday. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Brenda Wainwright, children: Brenda Ann (Shannon) Thompson, Tony (Valeria) Wainwright, Na-Na (Kevin) Burrous; three brothers, Donald (Jo Hollon) Wainwright, Walt Wainwright and Tom (Kathy) Wainwright; three sisters, Dora (Al) Dozier, Geneva Wainwright and Betty(Bubba) Stubbs; six Grandchildren, Trey (Candace) Davis, Private Drew Wainwright, Dorsiee Burrous, Payton Thompson, Luke Wainwright and Robin (Donnie) Jungferman; four Great Grandchildren, Easton Davis, Adam Pendley, Ashlyn and Autumn Jungferman and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bill Tatum, Trey Davis, Eddie Davis, Steve Carter, Ken Motley and Mike Randall. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Buckner, Danny Jackson and Jim Caldwell.
