Grace Meeks

She was preceded in death by her first husband: William Allen McCord, Second husband: Clifford R. Meeks; one Brother: J.V. Martin; three Sisters: Ruth Hollon, Fannie Murphy, and Nina Turner; two Children: Linda K McCord and Marlin Allen McCord; two Grandsons: Michael Allen McCord and Craig Williams Lyons.

Grace is survived by her Grandsons: Jack (Alyson) Gay of Atlanta, GA and Kevin (Jodi) McCord of Deatsville, AL; seven Great Grandchildren: Madison Gay, Tripp Gay, Stella Gay, Victoria McCord, Blaise McCord, Kevin McCord, Jr., and Jayden McCord.

Grace was devoted to her church and community and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family accepted friends at the Ridout’s-Brown-Service Prattville Chapel on Saturday, January 27 from 6-8PM. Graveside service were held Sunday, January 28 at 3PM with Pastor Tony Butler of Fountain of Grace Church officiating at graveside at the Kingston Methodist Cemetery, Prattville, AL.
