Gregory Jerome Hilyer

Age 56, a resident of Deatsville, AL passed away on Feb. 10, 2015. Greg was a loving and caring husband, Daddy, Paw Paw, son, and brother. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 37 years Donna D. Hilyer; daughter Bridgit H. Watkins (Scott) and son Gregory “Nic” Hilyer; three grandchildren, Mary Grace, JohnScott and Hilyer Watkins; mother Betty Berry, sister Marcia Jordan (Terry), and brothers Walt Hilyer (Charlene), Pete Hilyer and Mark Hilyer (Debbie); father in law, JD Davenport “Granddaddy”, brother in law Ronald Davenport, sisters in law Cheryl Lenoir (Bobo) and Renee Lambert; a host of nieces and nephews and many extended family members, as well as countless friends. Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015 at Ridout’s Chapel, Prattville, 2-4 pm. Funeral Service will be Monday, Feb. 16, 2015 at 1 pm Heritage Baptist Church in Prattville, AL with graveside following at Big Springs Baptist Church, Billingsley, AL. Pallbearers will be Judson Coburn, Daniel Davenport, Lewis Hilyer, John Michael Lawrence, Mike Lawrence and Anthony Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Hilyer Watkins, JohnScott Watkins, David Farrell, Steve Fontaine, Dr. Danny Ingram and Earl Ryser.
